Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Hood Miller and her husband, Charles; a son, Stephen G. Hood and his wife, Suzie; and a sister, Carol Duncan, all of Charlotte. She has seven grandchildren, Chase Miller, Carter Miller, Clayton Strickland, Craig Strickland, Cameron Miller, Cooper Hood and Farrah Hood.
